Sunday, May 24th at 5:30pm marks the beginning of the Beth Moore study, Jesus, the One and Only, an in-depth study of the life of Jesus based on the book of Luke. Come along with us on a life-changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and finally, on the road toward the cross with the Savior. Get to know Jesus intimately...as though you had walked with Him during His days of earthly ministry. Don't miss this amazing study.

We are pleased to announce the beginning of a Women's Bible Study group. Our first meeting will be on March 23rd from 3-4:30pm. This study is for any women that are feeling lost and not sure about where their lives are headed. This is also a good chance to meet those of us involved in the ministry. The study that we will be starting with is called Finding God's Path Through Your Trials by Elizabeth George. We all face great difficulties in our lives as both Christians and non-Christians, and we need to be able to put them in perspective so that we can see all that God has planned for us. Because we minister to those who have lost their way and have that question of "Why me, God?" and think that he has abandoned them, this is a great way to learn that our Lord has a plan for us all and we just have to learn how to view our trials through His eyes. So, if you are not sure about the things going on in your life and you are looking to find someone with the answers, please join us as we discover the answers together in an open atmosphere, where everyone is welcome. |

These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7 Beginning Sunday, May 3rd at 11:00am Open Arms Christian Fellowship will begin holding a weekly prayer service. Coming together in prayer is a vital part of a healthy church. Church is not the building, it is His people coming together to become a house of prayer. There is scriptural evidence of the power in corporate prayer. Take a look at what happened to the sons of Israel when they cried out together: And it happened after many days the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. Exodus 2:23 Had the people never cried out about this before? That is difficult to believe, but when they came together there was a difference. When we all pray together at the same time for the same thing, the power of the Holy Spirit is released in a much greater way. God is with us when we are gathered together. What better time is there to talk to God than when He is in our midst? Join us for: Praise & Prayer Sundays at 11:00am Bible Study/Service Sundays at 5:30pm (Jesus, the One and Only by Beth Moore starting soon!) Service Wednesdays at 7:00pm |
